The White Oak Akashi Single Malt comes from the White Oak distillery in Hyogo, where for 10 months out of the year the distillery exclusively produces sake and shochu.
Sweet, light iodine and clove.
Pleasant bitterness, full-bodied depth with spice, peat-like character and a hint of aniseed and candied ginger.
Smokey with some tannin notes.
The single malt whisky has no age statement, but has plenty of rich malty flavor and a supple fruited character.
