Tasting Notes

NOSE pleasant nose, with hints of sweet malt and a refreshing mentholated note. Rather fruity, showing oranges, lots of juicy Granny Smith apples, unripe pineapple. Some honey. A soft floral note too. |

PALATE same fruitiness (citrus, apple) with more spices (pepper, nutmeg, ginger) – overall a bit drier than the nose suggested. Hints of gingerbread and very light mocha. |

FINISH Medium long, bittersweet, on malt, nutmeg and chestnuts. |
 |
OVERALL Some tangy orange zest. Salted butter. Mildly bitter woody notes towards the end. |
